Voodoo Candy

A glipse of what I've been working on in my illustration class...not particular drawdropping or anything, but I thought I might as well submit something. I wish this poject was over....kill me.

It's an edible voodoo doll...hard candy face pieces, licorice hair, fingers, and toes, chewy cherry heart...and gummy guts inside. Surrounded with a hard candy shell with hollow chocolate on the inside. You know you want to eat him.

Mixed media...layers of ink, charcoal, and pastel on tinted charcoal paper.
